So we made the soil we wished existed
Testing began at our kitchen table. Some mixes drained too fast, others stayed too soggy. The hard part was finding the right balance. We needed good drainage that still held just enough moisture and nutrients to keep roots fed.
Getting it right took time
After more failed batches than we can count, we landed on a mix that finally looked promising. This one had biochar, which held onto nutrients, and coco coir that retained just enough moisture. Together, they were the breakthrough we needed to get the balance right.
